For Training center
Requirements for Authorised IEMPA Training Centers
Our association strictly follows the rule of professional members. All trainers and teachers on behalf of IEMPA must have professional maritime education, and authorised IEMPA training centers must have at least 1 such member for supervision of the training process and enforcement of standards at the training center.
Training Center.
For an organisation to become an authorised IEMPA training center, it shall:
1. be a registered legal person and operate in accordance with the laws of the country of presence, authorised to carry out its operations;
2. accept all provisions and rules of IEMPA and sign a bilateral agreement with IEMPA;
3. have at least 1 full-time employee with professional maritime education, work experience in the maritime industry of at least 5 years, and at least 5,000 miles as a vessel captain;
4. have a material and technical base for maritime training:
а) own or rented vessels for practical lessons of the relevant training level.
b) training class for theoretical lessons, and necessary equipment.
5. have a passed field check in terms of compliance with the IEMPA requirements;
6. be a current member of the Association;
